About

Notre Dame Nature Study Club (NDNSC) is one of the best and active clubs in Notre Dame College. The club was founded 29th august 1984 by Mr. Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan. Mr. Biplob Kumer Deb is the present moderator of NDNSC.

The motto of NDNSC is- "Diligite Naturae Pul-Chritudincem" i.e. "Love The Beauty Of Nature"

The main perspective of the club is to collect and circulate the facts and knowledge about nature and it's resources for training members to became capable naturalist and propagate the spirit of nature and wildlife conservancy to the public.

Regular activities of the club includes- ​

  • Nature based workshops
  • Nature based Quiz & Olympiads
NDNSC provides a wide variety of training-
  • Photography Training Program (PTP) : This program is the eldest tradition of the club. Every year this training program is conducted by renowned photographers of the country. The course includes introduction to photography, camera ins and outs, lense, exposure, flash photography, photo techniques, camera accessories, photo printing and after editing.​
  • Ground Training Program (GTP) : It is a foundation course mandatory to members of the club. Members of the club receive practical ideas about activities of the club through this training
  • Publication Training Program (NLTP) : This program is also know as "News letter training program". The program enables the trainees to acquire practical and first hand ideas on how to publish a magazine of international standard.
  • Office Management Training Program (OMTP) : Through this program the trainees can receive ideas on how to manage an entire office environment. ​
